Petey Dixon – Peter Toth’s interest in electronic music began at a very young age. After doing the rounds at various clubs and parties, he began mixing in 2006. Only one year later, he was playing a monthly gig at Sikk Cafe in Debrecen, and playing at College parties in Budapest.
After his first international performance (in Austria) he had an opportunity to play with one of Hungary’s most prominent electronic musicians, Chriss. The success of this performance led to more international opportunities. He has played in France, Bulgaria, Romania and Austria among others. During these trips, he had the great fortune of playing with some of the industry’s greats, such as Jody Wisternoff, Collins and Behnam, Dandy, Beta, Palotai and Yvel & Tristan.
During this time, his popularity grew at home as well. In 2009 Justmusic.fm began a country-wide DJ talent contest in which he won an industry award, thereby becoming the resident DJ at Dokkolo in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. As well as these permanent positions, he has also performed at well-known clubs in Hungary (Prestige, Justmusic Club, Flort, Dokk, Sonic Dance Hall, Home Debrecen, Cool Club etc.) as well as regularly playing at local and international festivals (Snowattack, Sziget, Balaton Sound, Dum Dum Festival).
He can also be heard mixing online and on the radio (Frisky Radio, Campus Radio, Justmusic.fm, Danceradioglobal etc.) as well as having his own session fortnightly on Nugen.fm, called Cliche. He also started his own live radio show on justmusic.fm, called Octave.
In 2010 he and two friends formed Debdub and play and organise parties in Hungary’s east.
He has also began to show an interest in producing.
